Summer camp

July 17 - 21, 2011

Held in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee,

on the shores of the historic Duck River,

The Institute for Cultural Communicators' Summer Camp has...

challenging workshops,

step-by-step instruction,

personalized coaching opportunities,

and a myriad of exciting activities

And of course, no camp is complete without:

~ Creative skits

~ Movie nights!

~ Free time to rest or enjoy all the benefits of a camp environment

~ Cabin discussions to deepen relationships and challenge and stretch your thinking

~ Games to give your competitive side another outlet!

~ Organized activities (swimming, Frisbee golf, ultimate Frisbee, bonfires, etc.)

For communicators of all experience levels and backgrounds, ICC’s Summer Camp will teach students how to communicate with excellence. The scope of ICC’s Summer Camp offerings extends beyond competition. Our workshops and activities are designed by national champions to coach debaters and speakers to practically apply their skills. ICC’s goal is to inspire students to use communication and argumentation skills to influence their communities, whether that is through competition, on community platforms, in classrooms or casual conversations.

That’s why you will find
all of these activities and
others included in the
camp experience!

From topic discussions, brainstorming sessions and conceptual workshops to movie nights, bonfires and canoe trips, students will not want to miss this opportunity to begin analyzing debate resolutions and presenting speeches with nationally recognized instructors.
