Among other responsibilities, students who participate in the Apprentice Program will help lead BPS classes, conduct special presentations, shadow intern roles, and assist with conference activities.
Eligibility
APPRENTICE:
1) Must be 14 years or older by first day of conference
2) Completed Phase I of YSG
3) Have attended at least 2 events, 1 in the past 12 months
4) Fast Track Apprentice: 16 years old, Phase I of YSG completed and attended 1 prior event in the past 12 months
5) Verbal recommendation from Chapter Sponsor
APPRENTICE 2: CFC Conferences Only
1) Must be 15 years or older by first day of conference
2) Completed Phase II of YSG
3) Have apprenticed at 2 events, 1 in the past 12 month
4) All RSA's and Student Instructors are eligible, provided they have served within the past 12 months
5) If 17-18 you may apply for Apprentice 2 if you have apprenticed one time within the past 12 months
6) Verbal recommendation from Chapter Sponsor

Part of the purpose behind the Apprentice Program is to give you as much exposure to running a conference and coaching communication as possible. Arriving earlier allows you more time to shadow interns and plan for your role in leadership. With this time, you will be able to greet participants, prepare for the day, and keep the facility in order.

The application for this role will be completed through your event registration. Please make certain you have met eligibility requirements and have a verbal Sponsor recommendation.

Make sure you read the information on your role at ICC events here: Apprentices at Flood he Fives, CFC Conferences and Convention. This letter includes a preview of activities, homework and communication guidelines. Print it out and bring it with you along with your homework assignments and ideas.
