Alumni Interns at Conferences
Dear Alumni Interns,
We love having you stop in at conferences! The protocol for joining us at a conference is laid out here so you'll know how to plan.
1. Contact us to let us know which conference you'd like to attend and for how many days.
2. If you will need host housing, please let us know.
3. You need to arrange for your own meals. You can do this by ordering meals for the particular conference through registration on the website or by bringing in food.
4. Plan to speak to conference participants. This should be an encouraging talk that follows these guidelines:
~specific ways in which you have benefited from ICC programs
~ways in which you are using the skills/training you've learned through ICC
~encouragement you can give parents/teachers for training their students
Please plan to make your comments in about 3 minutes.
5. Oh....and.....of course, plan to wear conference attire!
